    Leanne and Chris

The wedding of Leanne & Christopher took place in our lovely chapel at 5.00pm on 23rd June 2012.

Leanne looked so pretty as she got our of the wedding car and stepped into the Spanish sunshine, she wore a beautiful wedding gown which was cream with a small train.  Her tiara was Swarovski crystals and sparkled in the sunshine.  She carried a posy of red roses, which was framed with loops of bear grass. And cream organsa

Her brides wore red chiffon dresses and carried arum lily sheaths and crystals.

The service was extremely moving, as her late grandfather was regular visitor to Rebate who had passed away in 2011 and it was his wish that his beloved grand daughter Leanne should take her wedding vows at Rebate.

His photo was placed on the altar table as a memory of him, I am sure he was there somewhere in the chapel looking down on her.

They left the church and were showered with fresh rose petals and applauded by on lookers.

The canapés were taken under the trees, and the guests enjoyed the peace and serenity which Rebate has to offer.

The couples dining table was bedecked with vases brimming  of purple orchids and red roses, and looked amazing,

The bridal party and guests boogied well into the evening, when carriages came to collect them.

My sweet lovely Leanne and Christopher it has been a joy to work with you both, we loved ever minute of you wedding.

Dawne and the wedding team wish you love, health, and happiness for your future life.

    Tom & Amanda Wednesday 20th June 2012 at 4.00pm

I have wanted to write this testimonial for days,  about this amazing and very special couple Amanda Richardson and Tom Swift.

They took their wedding vows on 20th June 2012 at 4.00pm in our lovely little chapel

I cannot being to tell you all what fun they have been throughout the organizing of the wedding and on the day.

Amanda & Thomas are a very special couple, they both work in the world of theatre, and that is exactly what they wedding was, a stage production.

Tom and his ushers danced down the aisle to Bruno Mars, “ I want to marry you”

Followed after by the most beautiful bride Amanda and her Dad.  Amanda looked stunning, like a goddess as the photos show.

They opted for a non religious service, which was performed by celebrant Malcolm Mc Clean.

The flowers were amazing, with buckets of lilies and roses, on the steps leading up to the church and topiary trees framing the church doors.  Tall towering vases were filled with peonies, hydrangeas, and green orchids the pew ends which hung from ever chair were cones of aged sheet music filled to the brim with flowers.

Their guests were from stage and screen, and there were two soloist singers from the guests, who performed in the church, all in all it was the most amazing ceremony.

As they left the church the Mariachi band were walking up the steps outside of the church playing cheerful, happy tunes, which of course all of the guests joined into.

The dining room, looked stunning Amanda opted for the white birdcages on the tables, which were dressed with lime green hydrangeas and green orchids

They had an olde fashion sweet table set up again in whitey green shades, with traditional sweets from England, and traditional paper bags.

The couple, had made photo frames which looked aged and inserted photos of themselves from their stage productions, pantomimes and other theatre shots, the wedding team hung them in the garden on the branches of the trees, a very special touch.  The two topiary trees from outside the church doors, were moved up into the top dining room on the tables, for guests to write message for the happy couple on brown luggage labels, which they tied to the trees.

Off course the evening entertainment went off with a bang, and a compilation of songs which was made by Tom, which including all of the guests, having to do a turn on the dance floor.

Well my darlings, what can I say, you have been the most fun, happy, joyous couple to deal with, I loved ever minute of working with you both.

Thanks so very much for your kind words, and please come back to Rebate to see us all again.

Our love to you both from Dawne and the wedding team at Rebate Bob, Andrew, Sandra, Carol, Pepi, Paco, Eric, Nicole, and all the crew.

    claire and alan

The lovely Claire & Alan Wildman, took their Wedding vows on Saturday 16th June 2012.

The bride looked amazing, carrying a lovely hand tied bouquet in lemon, yellows and shades of pink, and she carried in her hair fresh flowers to match which looked stunning.

Her gorgeous brides maids wore lovely knee length raspberry coloured cocktail dresses, and they also looked beautiful.

Claire has been a perfection with details, and endless emailing over the last year, ensured that the wedding team, had everything in place for the happy couple.

The service was special and moving, however the bride shed a few tears before she walked up the aisle, wedding nerves!! got the better of her.

The sun shone and it was a hot day, but the guests cooled down after the church service under the canopy of the trees, where they toasted the happy couple with cava and nibbled on delicious canapés.

The dining room was decked out in lemons, yellows and summery pink shades of seasonal blooms,  and it  looked stunning.  Likewise the wedding cup cake tower look a treat also,

The guests partied until late when carriages came to collect them all at 2.00am.

We thank you very much Claire and Alan for your kind words of thanks in the card that you sent the wedding team.

You have been a wonderful couple, and we have enjoyed organizing your wedding.

We wish you both a very happy life, and please come back to see us all again

    Much love

Dawne, Andrew, Bob, Sandra, Carol, Paco, Carlos, Andres, Eric, Pepi, and all of the wedding squad.

We’d both like to say a “Big Thank you” for everything you and the Rebate team did, to make our wedding the most special day possibly.

Alan and I had the most amazing day, prefect in every way. The bouquet’s, buttonholes and flower decorations where gorgeous. My hair piece was absolutely beautiful. We wouldn’t have changed a thing.

All our guest’s commented how wonderful and picturesque the venue was and what a wonderful, fun time they all had. Everyone was well and truly feed & the wine kept flowing.

Sorry for bursting into tears when I first arrived, all my emotions just came rolling out. I hadn’t seen Alan since 7pm the night before and I was just over whelmed with happiness and excitement.

Alan was very happy he got to ring the church bells, I would say it made his day, but he assures me that getting married made his year.

Once again thank you to the entire Rebate team for making our day, everything we had imagined and much, much more….

Love Claire & Alan (Mr & Mrs Wildman)  xxxx

    Diane and Phil

We believe this is the most romantic tale of all of our couples at Rebate

Diane & Philip Cutts, took their wedding vows at 5.00pm on Friday 15th June 2012.

They met as teenagers, and were madly in love, Phil being 18 years old and Dianne 17 years old.

Phil signed up for the army and was posted in Malaysia for two years.  There was a very interfering member of the family that split the couple up, and of course there were no mobile phone, emails or texting.   So the relationship fizzle out.

Diane, then left for Australia with her family and parents and settled there and married and had a family.

Likewise Phil came back from the army and met someone else and married and had a family.

They later both became single again

3 years ago Diane was on the Friends Re-untied website, and whose name should pop up in conversation, but her old flame and first love Philip.

So eventually through friends they got hooked up and have been emailing and Skyping each other.

Phil proposed to lovely Diane over the internet and without hesitation she accepted.

Diane flew into Spain 5 days before the wedding ceremony where she was eventually reunited with her first love and the love of her life Philip after 45 years.

Now is that the best true love story you have ever heard!! Bless them both, and the lovely couple whose love never died got married in our Rebate church.

Congratulations to this smashing couple we hope your future is full of fun and happiness, Your love for each other was so obvious on your special day here at Rebate

Much love from all of the wedding team Dawne, Andrew, Sandra, Bob Paco, Carlos, Eric, Andres and all of the gang
